Stacy Network Consulting is the new name for what I’ve been doing for several years now.
My day (and-sometimes-nights-and-weekends) job is doing system and network administration at Seapine Software. This is a good company and I am happy here. I am about to embark on year seven at Seapine, and looking to keep that going as long as they’ll have me.
I used to work for Evenflo and currently do some consulting work for them helping to administer a website and their Solaris/Oracle/ERP infrastructure. Evenflo has more the usual amount of internal expertise with windows, ERP apps and databases. My help is mostly with Solaris/Linux and associated software.
Before Seapine, but after Evenflo, I lived on the road helping customers of Dell have a more meaningful relationship with storage and backup hardware purchased. This position was as a full Dell employee, not a contractor, and many battles were fought and dragons slain. As a result, I am not afraid of taming your backup/storage/
SAN environment. No matter what you have going on, I’ve probably seen worse.
So maybe I can help you, maybe I can’t, or maybe just a little. I like professional relationships, flat-rate billing and win/win deals. If you have a short term project that can be done in nights or weekends either remotely or in the Cincinnati/Dayton area, I might be your guy.
